LN Concerts, Touring Project Manager
About the role
Live Nation is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to be a critical part of driving project management in the organization focusing on global touring. This role will be responsible for working with stakeholders and cross-divisional partners to establish clear milestones and deliverables, set timelines and a roadmap to delivery, enable collaboration across teams, establish clear accountability, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. This individual will be a self-starter who sees projects through to completion while also supporting one of the executives.
Responsibilities
- Manage administration for tours of all sizes
- Gather and manage calendar avails and holds
- Create and complete tour routings
- Work on global tours
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with individuals across diverse personalities, cultures, and global backgrounds
- Experience working with international artists, tours, and cross-cultural business partners
- Create and oversee completion of tour files including confirmations, contacts, offers, pot trackers, and more
- Develop and maintain tour files and ensure they are organized properly
- Utilize TM1 and other systems to gather and review ticketing-related data to advise on decision-making
- Ensure industry and guest ticketing requests are handled
- Work with tour finance on reporting needs and to complete & track weekly artist payments
- Create reports as needed and distribute to pertinent internal and external stakeholders
- Create business plans and maintain deal sheets for potential tours with supervision and review
- Gather data and research as needed for Tour Promoter & Director
- Review artist contracts per company guidelines
- Liaise with artists/agents/managers and related industry participants
- Manage interactions with other departments (i.e. marketing, ticketing, etc.)
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day execution of small to mid-size domestic tour deals and coordinate with local Live Nation offices and 3rd party venues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
- 2+ years experience in the live music business and working with live events
- Passionate about music and live experiences
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to recognize organizational and define problems, collect information, establish facts, and implement innovative solutions
- Highly organized
- Proactive work ethic
- Strong computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Concur
- Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and to work in an environment that is constantly changing
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs
- Ability to travel when necessary

Pay
The expected compensation for this position is $64,000.00 USD – $80,000.00 USD. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
