About the role

As an Assistant Construction Manager – Venue Development for Blueprint Studios based in New York, NY you’ll play a vital role in managing construction activities for both new and existing venues throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Live Nation's interests throughout design and construction.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings with architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for completeness and constructability.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, risks, and key milestones.
  • Aid with project budgeting, change order management, and cost forecasting.
  • Support procurement of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Cookordination permitting activities with local jurisdictions.
  • Participate in OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings.
  • Maintain project action logs, decision logs, and issue tracking.
  • Aid with FF&E procurement and installation.
  • Cookordination owner-furnished equipment.
  • Support commissioning and turnover activities.
  • Aid with punch list completion and project closeout.
  • Perform regular site walks to verify quality, safety, and schedule performance.
  • Identify potential project risks and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Cookordination across Operations, Booking, Food & Beverage, Premium, Security, and Production teams to ensure venue requirements are incorporated into project delivery.
  • Willingness to travel (40–70% depending on project needs).

Requirements

  • A BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field is highly preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years of construction project management, preferably in entertainment, retail, or hospitality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding construction methods, materials, and sequences, and architectural/construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Comfort with physical tasks such as conducting site visits and inspections.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, and Autodesk Construction Cloud preferred.
  • Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, and change orders preferred.

Pay

The Expected Compensation For This Position Is $65,000.00 USD - $82,000.00 USD Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
