About the role
This is a contract position that allows you to choose your schedule and see clients via telehealth and/or an office location. Provide services for clients from a diverse population seeking affordable mental healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Offer services to clients from a diverse population seeking affordable mental healthcare.
- See clients via telehealth and/or an office location.
- Manage a caseload of 12+ weekly client appointments.
- Set your own private pay rates.
- Fill your practice with a steady stream of client referrals.
- Develop as a therapist through consultation within our community of psychotherapists.
Requirements
- Possess an unrestricted professional license from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Have a desire and competence with treating diverse and marginalized populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
- Have a firm grasp of the DSM-5 (or DSM-5-TR).
- Uphold high ethical standards.
- Provide competent and affordable mental healthcare.
- Be a detail-oriented self-starter.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a licensed setting.
- Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
- Knowledge of the DSM-5 (or DSM-5-TR).
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to providing quality mental healthcare.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 12+ weekly client appointments.
Skills

- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
- Proficiency in using an electronic health record system.
