Live Video Producer

About the role

We operate a high-velocity digital news and geopolitics network generating nearly 1,000,000 views per day across our primary channels. We're hiring an elite, quick-thinking Live Broadcast Producer to act as the "Director in the Control Room" for our daily stream of interviews.

What You Will Do

• VIP Guest Concierge: Greet guests in the green room, conduct audio/camera tech checks, and ensure they're comfortable before going live.
• Live Show Management (StreamYard): Direct the broadcast, manage screenshares, pull up breaking news articles on the fly, trigger lower-thirds, and switch camera layouts seamlessly during the conversation.
• Host Shielding: Keep the Host insulated from technical issues. Troubleshoot silently in the background chat without disrupting the flow.
• Pre & Post-Production Prep: Ensure all assets (graphics, intro videos, links) are pre-loaded into StreamYard before the broadcast begins.

Who You Are

• Flawless English (Written & Spoken): Verbally direct high-profile, authoritative guests. English must be pristine, professional, and calming.
• StreamYard Experience Preferred: Hands-on experience with StreamYard (or similar broadcasting software) is a strong plus. Prior experience will help you hit the ground running.
• Ice in Your Veins: Live broadcasting is unpredictable. You don't panic when a guest's mic dies in the middle of a viral interview; you fix it.
• High Context Awareness: Follow a fast-paced news conversation and instinctively know when to full-screen a map, when to show a specific article, and when to cut back to a dual-camera view.

The Hours

This is a live show. Expect to work late hours a few days a week depending on guest availability and breaking news cycles. Flexibility is essential.

Compensation

$2,300/month gross.
