Live Receiving - Nights

About the role

Pilgrim’s is a leading global provider of high-quality food products, including well-recognized brands and value-added premium products. Located in Arcadia, WI, Pilgrim’s offers a hometown feel within its complex, which employs approximately 500 team members.

Responsibilities

• Places the legs of live chickens into shackles at a rate required to meet the line speed established by company standards.
• Inserts drawers at required speeds.
• Loads and unloads crates off shuttle trucks.
• Keeps loose chickens picked up off the floor.
• Reports any equipment damage or potential mechanical problems to leadership immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and use hands for up to 8 to 10 hour shifts.
• Ability to apply common sense and comprehend basic instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Ability to work in a changing environment.
• Must be observant and highly responsive.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to operate a forklift preferred.

This position starts at $23.21/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Differential!
