Live In Home Care Caregiver/Direct Care Worker

About the role

Eminence Home Care is seeking a talented Live-in Caregiver/Direct Care Worker to join our team. This role involves providing direct care and support to clients in their homes or in healthcare facilities, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and enabling them to live their best lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and overseeing laundry
• Prepare and oversee meals and ensure proper hydration
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship
• Offer emotional support to clients and their families through respite care

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience in home care or a related field
• Caregivers with flexible schedules to meet client needs
• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification welcome but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Compassionate and client-centered approach
