Pay Rate: $16-$20/hour with differential pay for nights and weekends. Weekly pay and a $400 sign-on bonus available for qualifying candidates.

About the Role

Being a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide at Visiting Angels Springfield is a rewarding job that allows you to give back to your community and broaden your skills. The Springfield Office Team provides caregivers for Macoupin County and surrounding areas, including Sangamon, Menard, Morgan, and Logan Counties.

Visiting Angels supports seniors with daily living responsibilities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, one-on-one mobility assistance, and transportation. The role offers opportunities for personal growth, including advanced training in areas like Dementia Care or Alzheimer’s Care.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (e.g., doctor’s appointments, walks)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements
