Live-In Certified Nurse Aide
About the Role
As a Visiting Angels Live-In Certified Nurse Aide, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. Visiting Angels offers opportunities for advanced training in areas like dementia care and/or Alzheimer’s care for caregivers seeking to broaden their skills.
- Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
- Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
- Planning and preparing meals with clients
- Handling light housekeeping duties
- Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
- Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
- Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
- Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
- Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
- Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands
Serve clients throughout the local area including West Seattle, Des Moines, Shoreline, Burien, Magnolia, North Seattle, Lake Forest Park, Normandy Park, Sammamish, and many more.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes
- Physical endurance for tasks like carrying groceries and supporting clients
- Comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients’ days
Required licenses: HCA, CNA, Exemption Letter with Active NAR, or Driver’s License if applicable. Homecare Aide Certification Training is offered.

Pay
$18.00–$22.00 per hour, with weekly payroll.
