Live-In Certified Nurse Aide

About the role

Visiting Angels of Boise is hiring a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide to support senior adults in their homes across the local area, including Caldwell, Nampa, Meridian, and other nearby communities. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Manage light housekeeping tasks
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications on schedule
• Assist with grocery shopping and meal planning/preparation based on client ability
• Support clients with mobility and ambulation, including doctor visits and walks
• Act quickly in medical emergencies and report health changes or unusual circumstances

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
• Compassion for vulnerable individuals and a desire to provide meaningful companionship
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
• PRN and short shifts available
• Flexible shift options, including days and weekends
