Visiting Angels of Baytown is hiring a Live‑In Certified Nurse Aide to provide compassionate, in‑home care for senior adults throughout the local area, including Liberty, Raywood, Dayton, Moss Bluff, Stilson, and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications at the correct times.
• Help clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shop for them).
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients, based on their abilities.
• Assist clients with mobility and ambulation, including moving around the house, attending doctor appointments, and taking walks.
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies, reporting any health changes or unusual circumstances.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office‑specific health and safety standards.

Schedule

Shift options include Full‑Time, Part‑Time, 8‑hour, 10‑hour, 12‑hour, PRN, and Short Shift.
