Qualifications
- Prior experience as a live-in caregiver, home health aide, or PCA preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Confidence with safe transfers and basic housekeeping/cooking.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and remain awake/alert for overnight safety checks.
- Compassionate, reliable, and mindful of privacy in a client’s home.
Skills
- Personal care with dignity (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility exercises)
- Healthy home & meals (planning, prepping, serving nutritious meals; keeping the home tidy with light housekeeping and laundry)
- Meds & wellness oversight (timely reminders and tracking basic health indicators)
- Companionship & engagement (chat, play games, accompany walks, support social outings or errands)
- Family & team communication (maintain clear, respectful updates with loved ones and the care team)
