Live! Cocktail Server (Part-Time) - Philadelphia

About the Role

Live! is seeking a hardworking, attentive, and personable Cocktail Server to provide high-quality service and assist with bar operations in a fine-dining, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide the guest experience by being well-versed in all concept products and menu items to sell food and beverage items.
• Alert Management of any service and/or safety issues.
• Make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Input and control ordering through the register during each transaction, maintaining accountability and providing receipts to guests for all beverages served.
• Responsible for all bank and cash handling procedures and variance policies.
• Carry trays of beverage and food offerings throughout the restaurant/bar.
• Serve and replenish items as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas at all times, including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
• Abide by all federal, state, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service and intoxicated guests.
• Understand and comply with all PLCB regulations and ensure compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
• Adhere to company and department-specific appearance standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with others and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Must be RAMP certified.
• Thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
• Full working knowledge of POS systems.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk briskly for extended periods of time without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to push, pull, stoop, bend, and squat continuously throughout shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds unassisted for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work entire shift in full costume without accommodations.
• Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms.
• Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• 24/7 operation requiring extended hours and the ability to meet scheduling demands.
• Must be able to move about a 200,000-square-foot casino with a sense of urgency.
