Responsibilities
- Oversee the full scope of e-discovery workflows, from preservation and collection through processing, review, and production.
- Develop and execute project plans, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure compliance with legal standards, court rules, and client guidelines.
- Collaborate with litigation teams to design and implement Technology Assisted Review (TAR) and other AI-driven review workflows.
- Leverage Relativity aiR for Review to enhance document review efficiency, configure and monitor its deployment, and provide reporting on performance and impact.
- Advise attorneys on best practices for defensible deployment of AI tools, assist in drafting related protocols for courts, maintain a firm grasp of relevant validation statistics, and oversee quality control and validation of AI-assisted review results.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for all e-discovery-related communications, opposing counsel, and clients, including advising on ESI issues during meet-and-confer discussions and ensuring compliance with ESI protocols and protective orders.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, prepare status reports and metrics for stakeholders, conduct quality assurance checks on all data deliverables, and mentor junior team members on e-discovery best practices and technology platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; a Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certificate, or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of increasing responsibility in e-discovery project management, including direct law firm experience, required.
- A current Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing Technology Assisted Review (TAR) workflows is essential.
