About the role
Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm, seeks a Litigation Project Manager for the Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain litigation tracking systems, case management reports, and matter-specific checklists.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of client-required status reports, litigation updates, and other reporting obligations.
- Track and communicate critical deadlines, including client related obligations, expert demands/disclosures and trial preparation milestones.
- Proactively remind attorneys and legal staff of upcoming deadlines, outstanding tasks, and required case activity.
- Conduct routine quality-control reviews to identify missing information, overdue assignments, potential deadline risks, and compliance concerns.
- Generate performance metrics, and workload summaries for practice group leadership.
- Cook up with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to maintain consistent case progression and timely resolution of warranty claims.
- Escalate high-risk matters, missed milestones, or compliance concerns to leadership for resolution.
- Help reduce write-offs, sanctions exposure, corrective work, and administrative inefficiencies through proactive project oversight.
- Support budgeting, resource planning, and operational initiatives within the lemon law practice group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent legal experience.
- Experience in litigation support and legal operations.
- Experience supporting high-volume civil litigation, consumer protection, lemon law, warranty litigation, or similar practice areas preferred.
- Strong understanding of litigation deadlines, court procedures, discovery processes, and case lifecycle management.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous active matters simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency with case management, docketing, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to identify risks, solve problems proactively, and maintain strict attention to detail.
Qualifications

Pay
California salary range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
