About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, seasoned Litigation Partner to join our esteemed firm. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and handle complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in various areas of law, including employment law, land use/zoning, education law, cannabis law, corporate & business litigation, government-related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, a strong track record of success, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of litigation matters, including employment disputes, land use/zoning issues, education law matters, cannabis law issues, corporate & business litigation, government-related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation.
  • Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
  • Providing sound legal advice to clients on complex legal matters and potential litigation risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
  • Collaborating with other partners, associates, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS, COLLEAGUES, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS.
  • KEEPING ABREAST OF DEVELOPMENTS IN THE LAW AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE WITH COLLEAGUES.
  • PARTICIPATING IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES TO ATTRACT NEW CLIENTS AND EXPAND THE FIRM'S CLIENT BASE.

Qualifications

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on employment law, land use/zoning, education law, cannabis law, corporate & business litigation, government-related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation.
  • Proven track record of success in litigation, including trial experience.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to attract new clients.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
