Key Responsibilities
- Quickly and correctly identify all parties involved in personal injury cases and their contact information.
- Perform investigative research on a number of company and business websites, federal, state and local government websites and safety regulatory websites.
- Perform investigative research on a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Read, analyze, and distill large amounts of information from all sources and apply it to an investigation.
- Research the Safety, Compliance, and Violation history of Trucking Companies.
- Provide in-depth reports on background data and social media findings.
- Communicate with management and attorneys regarding investigative findings.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or any related field, a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and research skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Filevine (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
- Maintain a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc.
- May occasionally ascend/descend the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
- Occasionally move supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs.
- Exchange information in situations requiring communication, detection, determination, perception, identification, recognition, judgment, observation, inspection, estimation, and assessment.
- Observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
