Litigation Graphics Consultant

About the role

The Litigation Graphics Consultant designs, develops, and maintains creative and engaging graphics for litigation proceedings. This role involves creating and producing timelines, document excerpts, diagrams, scene recreations, and other artifacts. Responsibilities also include video editing, format conversions, and basic IT support.

Responsibilities

  • Create and produce timelines, document excerpts, diagrams, scene recreations, and other litigation-related graphics.
  • Edit videos and convert formats as needed.
  • Support Audio Visual systems during trials, including setup, support, and take-down.
  • Provide basic IT support, such as managing printers, networking, and connectivity.
  • Assist with revision/improvement of created diagrams/figures in expert reports.
  • Develop opening and closing slides, typically 100-150 in total.
  • Revise/improve graphics already created, approximately 80-100 slides.
  • Consult with client experts and third-party witnesses to refine graphics, usually 50 or fewer slides.
  • Work with one economic expert and one industry expert.
  • Interpret data to create graphical representations of information.
  • Use MS Office PowerPoint 2019 (installed on client trial laptops) and ideally, MS PowerPoint 365 (installed on client desktops).
  • Provide realistic estimates of the time required to develop specific graphics requests.
  • Meet all established deadlines.
  • Be available 24/7 throughout the local San Jose, CA trial, which may require at least two people knowledgeable of and involved with the work in progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia, Digital Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related concentration.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • High proficiency in graphic design, infographics, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, MS PowerPoint, and experience with WordPress, Webflow, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver preferred.
  • Ability to create, design, and modify mockups for web-based platforms.
  • Ability to self-manage projects and work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate willingly and effectively in a team setting.
  • Based in the Bay area to avoid time zone issues.

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Webflow, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver.
  • Ability to interpret data and create graphical representations.
  • Self-management and project management skills.
  • Collaborative and teamwork abilities.
