Our firm represents individuals and companies before courts, government offices, and consular posts worldwide. We specialize in removal defense, humanitarian applications, family-based immigration, criminal immigration, employment-based immigration, naturalization, and appellate and federal litigation.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload while meeting case progression benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with paralegals and fellow attorneys to ensure seamless case handling.
- Participate in firm committees under the guidance of firm partners, contributing to the firm's operations and success.
- Enjoy a hybrid work model, blending flexibility with opportunities to meet clients and attend in-office events.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for immigration law cases.
- Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide effective guidance and support to clients throughout the immigration process.
- Lead and manage multiple case files with strong organizational skills.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance legal strategies and case outcomes.
- Stay updated on evolving immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Active bar membership.
- A minimum of 1 year of immigration experience handling immigration litigation matters in the federal district court.
- Demonstrated experience in either immigration law or federal litigation, with the ability to navigate both areas effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in conducting thorough legal research using legal platforms.
- Willingness to travel, usually no more than once or twice a month, within the United States to handle in-person court hearings or present at conferences.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages.
- Additional experience in specific immigration law specialties or areas of practice.
