About the role

An established firm based in New Jersey with over 10 years in practice is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of patent litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, memoranda, and litigation-related documents
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and court conferences as appropriate
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case management
• Analyze technical materials and coordinate with experts when necessary
• Communicate with clients and team members to advance case progress

Qualifications

• Possesses a J.D. from an accredited law school
• Holds an active license in New York/New Jersey or is eligible for admission
• Has 2+ years of experience in patent litigation
• Has experience with claim construction, motion practice, depositions, and discovery
