About the role
The Houston office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. seeks a litigation attorney with four to six years of litigation experience, ideally in tort litigation and insurance defense, for a non-shareholder track position.
Responsibilities
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Exceptional research and writing skills
- Experience drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Evaluating, interviewing, and deposing experts
- Running files autonomously
- Assume responsibility in an active litigation practice
- Trial experience in state and federal court preferred
