Base salary range: $150k to $200k + BonusesMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, matching 401(k), unlimited PTO with 40-hour credit, sick, and paid holidaysMonthly stipend covering cellphone, CLE, travel, association membership, and related expensesHybrid remote — 2 days onsite per weekPartnership track — genuine path to ownership for the right candidateMid-sized established firm with opportunity for business development and client sharing Job Details Defend a varied caseload of professional lines matters with an Employment Practices Liability (EPL) focusHandle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution — pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparationDefend insurers, employers, professionals, insurance brokers and agents, real estate brokers, condominiums, and HOAs against claims •arising under EPL, D&O, and E&O policiesEvaluate liability, damages, and exposure and provide strategic guidance to insurance carriers and insured clients on case strategy, settlement, and resolutionPrepare detailed client reports and carrier communications with clarity and precision Looking For: Minimum 4 years of insurance defense experience — professional lines focus requiredIllinois Bar AdmissionStrong written communication skills — carrier reporting is a core function of this roleDefense side only — no plaintiff, no in-house, no carrier-side candidatesFederal court experience a plus Interested in hearing more?
