Litigation Attorney

About the role

The Wilson Elser Boston office is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join a collaborative team of experienced professionals. This role offers an opportunity for growth and contribution within a dynamic legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage matters at all stages of litigation
• Represent clients in a variety of defense litigation
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on litigation matters
• Opportunities to handle court appearances and conduct depositions
• Communicate with clients, providing regular updates and recommendations on litigation strategies

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts, including Rhode Island and/or New Hampshire
• 3+ years of experience in litigation involving complex tort & general casualty, employment, construction, professional liability and/or product liability
• Superior communication, writing, analytical, and research skills
• Experience preparing discovery requests, objections, and responses to discovery requests, and motions and briefing relating to discovery disputes
• Experience handling court appearances and depositions is a plus
