Litigation Attorney

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice. Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from case inception through trial and appeal
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Prepare witnesses and evidence for hearings and trial
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal counsel
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve successful client outcomes

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the Texas State Bar (required)
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
• Experience managing cases independently with minimal supervision

Skills

• Strong courtroom advocacy, legal research, and writing skills
• Proven ability to handle a full litigation caseload from pre-trial through trial
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service
