Litigation Attorney
About the role
We are a growing law firm specializing in consumer warranty litigation defense. As our caseload continues to expand, we are seeking a strong mid-level attorney who can independently manage files, drive strategy, and deliver high-quality results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from intake through resolution
- Draft, analyze, and argue motions, oppositions, and briefs
- Conduct and defend depositions (parties, experts, and third-party witnesses)
- Handle all aspects of discovery, including meet-and-confers and discovery motions
- Participate in and lead settlement negotiations
- Appear in court for hearings, law & motion, and case management
- Assist with trial preparation, including pre-trial filings and strategy
- Communicate regularly with clients about case status and strategy
- Provide support and informal mentorship to junior attorneys and staff
Qualifications
- Active California State Bar member in good standing
- 4–7 years of civil litigation experience (consumer warranty defense a plus)
- Federal court circuit experience a strong plus
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Experience managing cases with minimal supervision
- Experience with taking and defending depositions
- Ability to develop and execute strategic litigation plans
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Experience handling mediations
