Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases through all stages of litigation
- Perform in-depth case analysis to evaluate liability and damages
- Draft, review, and file litigation documents, including discovery, motions, and oppositions, including oppositions to motions for summary judgment
- Handle negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Maintain strong client communication and provide consistent case updates
- Serve as first chair in civil jury trials
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to develop litigation strategy and drive successful outcomes
Requirements
- Attorney in good standing and licensed to practice law in CA and/or NV
- 7+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience
- Strong knowledge of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to plaintiff personal injury litigation
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively interpret and apply legal authority
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to successfully manage cases and advocate for clients while achieving positive outcomes
- Experience conducting legal research, preparing legal briefs, and providing strategic legal guidance
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
