Litigation Attorney

About the role

A growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its expanding litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney seeking meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and hands-on litigation experience. The selected attorney will work closely with experienced trial attorneys and assist with cases from filing through trial.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial testimony
• Attend mediations, hearings, and case management conferences
• Coordinate with medical providers and expert witnesses
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction and in good standing
• 2–5 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Experience handling depositions, court hearings, and case management
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and client communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in plaintiff-side trial practice
• Personal injury litigation experience is preferred
