Litigation Attorney

About the role

McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Attorney to join its team in our Roseland office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing civil litigation matters while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience with municipal and government law, specifically in the areas of redevelopment and long-term tax exemption; labor and employment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support senior attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including research, drafting pleadings and other legal documents
• Handle all phases of discovery and depositions
• Prepare matters for trial and attend court conferences

Qualifications

• Strong experience with municipal and government law, particularly redevelopment and long-term tax exemption
• Labor and employment experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow

Salary

$130,000 – $170,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall work background.
