Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of litigation from initiation to disposition, including drafting pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, and trial preparation.
- Represent the company in all courtroom proceedings, mediation sessions, and arbitration hearings.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and to stay updated with the latest legal trends and regulations.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop the best legal strategy for each case.
- Negotiate settlements in the best interest of the company, considering all legal and business implications.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on potential litigation risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with clear and concise communication throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must have a valid license to practice law.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, preferably in the corporate sector.
- Extensive experience in courtroom proceedings, mediation, and arbitration.
- Proficiency in conducting thorough legal research.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
