Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct extensive legal research to keep abreast of changes in law and to predict possible outcomes.
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Must be a TX licensed attorney in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, ideally business/commercial litigation focus.
• Significant trial experience and business/commercial litigation experience required.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a strong detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and disputes.
• High ethical standards and professionalism in all business interactions.
• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
