Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception through resolution
- Draft and file complaints and responsive pleadings
- Draft and argue dispositive motions
- Develop litigation strategy in reimbursement and coverage disputes
- Engage in settlements negotiations
- Appear in CT state and federal courts
- Collaborate on complex healthcare litigation matters involving regulatory and reimbursement frameworks
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Licensed and in good standing in Connecticut (required)
- Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey or New York (preferred)
- Licensed in the Federal Court of Connecticut (preferred)
- Prior experience in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage, or reimbursement disputes preferred but not required
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases independently
Salary Range
$140,000-170,000 / year, commensurate with experience
