Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 yearly Qualifications Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 5 years is requiredCommunication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs is neededAble to work independently while handling multiple filesWell-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) Responsibilities Take responsibility for overseeing administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients, and completing tasksPerform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motionsDetermine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysisGet the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondenceAppear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedingsParticipate in trial
