Litigation Attorney
Position Overview
At Bush & Bush Law Group, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation in personal injury and employment law cases. We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team and actively participate in all phases of litigation.
Requirements
Litigation Management: Oversee all phases of litigation from case inception through trial, including the development of case strategies, discovery, and settlement negotiations
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their legal issues, provide legal advice and develop effective strategies
Court Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings, ensuring high-quality advocacy at all times
Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy and support legal arguments
Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests that are clear, concise, and persuasive
Trial Preparation: Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to prepare trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions
Case Analysis: Evaluate cases, identify issues, and provide recommendations for the best course of action
Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on case status and developments
Qualifications
Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensing: Licensed to practice law in Texas with a strong understanding of state and federal litigation procedures
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on personal injury or employment law cases
Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills, with strong legal writing ability; proven trial experience with the ability to assertively represent clients in high-stakes situations; strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a meticulous attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently, while managing multiple cases effectively
