Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a broad range of litigation matters, including commercial, consumer, and complex litigation, from initial case assessment through resolution, developing strategy and evaluating legal and business risk.
• Conduct legal research and draft, review, and revise litigation materials, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other case‑related documents.
• Manage and collaborate with outside counsel on active litigation, including overseeing case strategy, discovery, budgets, key deadlines, settlement considerations, and overall matter performance.
• Partner with internal legal and business stakeholders to investigate claims and disputes, assess potential exposure, advise on litigation strategy, and develop practical approaches to resolving disputes and mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience, including commercial, consumer, and/or complex litigation, gained in‑house, at a law firm, or through a combination of both.
• Experience managing litigation matters and/or performing hands‑on litigation work, including legal research, drafting, discovery, case strategy, and coordination with outside counsel preferred.
• Strong judgment, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and collaborate effectively with legal and business stakeholders.
• Active attorney license in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

Compensation

The estimated total compensation for full‑time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500‑325,000 per year and for non‑attorney roles is $71,250‑309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
