Litigation Associate Attorney

Hinshaw & Culbertson, a leading national law firm, seeks an attorney to join its Defense Litigation practice group remotely from California. This role represents national and international insurance clients across complex coverage areas.

About the role

Work with a collaborative team on a wide range of matters, including bad faith, professional liability, pollution, construction defect, personal and advertising injury, cyber liability, and excess liability.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse and challenging caseload in both state and federal courts.
• Take on significant responsibilities early in your tenure.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts.
• Experience representing clients in insurance coverage litigation matters is preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Pay

Estimated salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 for California-based candidates. Offered salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.
