Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a varied caseload from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings/answers, handling discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, trial preparation, actual trial conduct, and appellate work.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic counsel and regular case updates.
- Prepare for and chair client corporate meetings and engage in public speaking opportunities.
- Manage a high volume of projects alongside administrative staff.
- Oversee electronic task lists, timekeeping, and billing efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Active admission to practice law in Wisconsin.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or representing governmental organizations in civil litigation.
- Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems and modern legal software.
- Attributes: Proven track record of dedication, strong interpersonal skills, and professional work ethic.
