Litigation Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support all phases of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
• Conduct and defend fact and expert witness depositions
• Lead written discovery and e-discovery processes
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trials
• Develop litigation strategy and provide practical business-focused advice to clients
• Work closely with clients and litigation teams on sophisticated disputes

Who You Are

• 3rd–5th year associate
• Experience in complex commercial litigation
• Experience in state and federal court proceedings
• Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills
• Experience managing multiple matters and taking ownership of cases
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong attention to detail and strategic thinking skills
• Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for prompt admission
