About the Role
Join Morrison Mahoney LLP as a Full Time Associate Attorney, working in civil litigation. Areas of focus may include General Liability and Premises Liability Defense, Medical Malpractice Defense / Long-Term Care Facilities, Products Liability, Professional Liability, Commercial and Business Litigation, Construction, Trucking and Vehicular Liability Defense, Employment, and more!
Responsibilities
As a civil litigation Associate Attorney, you will:
- Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies
- Provide clients with updates and interim status reports on their cases
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to bolster case strategies
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
- At least one (1) year of prior civil litigation experience
- Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts
- Strong advocacy skills
- Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions
- Ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests
- Attention to detail and effective communication
Qualifications
You should possess:

- Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts

Pay
$110,000 - $125,000 per year (dependent on experience)
