About the Role

Join Morrison Mahoney LLP as a Full Time Associate Attorney, working in civil litigation. Areas of focus may include General Liability and Premises Liability Defense, Medical Malpractice Defense / Long-Term Care Facilities, Products Liability, Professional Liability, Commercial and Business Litigation, Construction, Trucking and Vehicular Liability Defense, Employment, and more!

Responsibilities

As a civil litigation Associate Attorney, you will:

  • Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies
  • Provide clients with updates and interim status reports on their cases
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to bolster case strategies
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
  • At least one (1) year of prior civil litigation experience
  • Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts
  • Strong advocacy skills
  • Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions
  • Ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests
  • Attention to detail and effective communication

Qualifications

You should possess:

Pay

$110,000 - $125,000 per year (dependent on experience)
