About the Role
Join Morrison Mahoney LLP as a Full-Time Associate Attorney in civil litigation. Areas of focus may include General Liability and Premises Liability Defense, Medical Malpractice Defense / Long-Term Care Facilities, Products Liability, Professional Liability, Commercial and Business Litigation, Construction, Trucking and Vehicular Liability Defense, Employment, and more!
Responsibilities
As a civil litigation Associate Attorney, you will:
- Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies
- Provide clients with updates and interim status reports on their cases
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memoranda to bolster case strategies
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
- At least one (1) year of prior civil litigation experience
- Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts
- Strong advocacy skills, including proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, performing legal research, and responding to discovery requests
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills for taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions

Pay
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000, depending on experience.

This is a hybrid role, allowing for a work-from-home option to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
