Litigation Associate
About the role
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least one year of experience to join its California litigation team. This opportunity is available in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement (may offer fully remote).
Qualifications
- 1+ years of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Hands-on experience managing case responsibilities from inception through resolution
- Experience drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and supporting trial preparation efforts
- Familiarity with electronic discovery platforms and litigation technology
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven practice
- Strong communication and client service skills
- A solid academic background
