- Active membership in the Virginia State Bar (required)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience handling a range of civil litigation matters
- Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a team
- Professional judgment, attention to detail, and strong client communication skills
Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Draft and review litigation documents and legal memoranda
- Participate in court appearances, depositions, and hearings
- Work directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Collaborate closely with partners and other associates on complex matters
