Responsibilities
- Manage and support a diverse litigation caseload from inception through trial and resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, mediation memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal analyses.
- Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Work directly with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and develop strong client relationships.
- Prepare dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
- Assist with all phases of depositions, including preparing witness outlines and deposition strategy.
- Prepare trial briefs, post-trial motions, arbitration briefs, and post-hearing submissions.
- Participate in complex document review projects for litigation, investigations, and government inquiries.
- Collaborate with attorneys across the litigation practice to develop effective case strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law.
- 2-7 years of litigation experience required.
- Construction litigation experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
- Outstanding academic credentials preferred.
