Litigation Associate

About the role

The Litigation Practice Group is among the most experienced in New England, handling a vast array of litigation cases. The team has tried more than 600 jury and non-jury cases, in addition to several hundred arbitrations and thousands of mediations and administrative proceedings. Attorneys work closely with clients throughout the litigation process to resolve complex legal issues while providing the highest quality of service.

Portland, Maine – Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of litigation experience
• Judicial clerkship is a plus
• Strong research and writing skills
• Superior verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional travel dependent on business needs

Westport, Connecticut – Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of litigation experience
• Judicial clerkship is a plus
• Strong research and writing skills
• Superior verbal and interpersonal communication skills with colleagues and clients
• Interest in practicing in Connecticut
• Admission (or ability to obtain admission) to the Connecticut Bar is required
• New York Bar admission is a plus
• Occasional travel dependent on business needs
