Litigation Associate
About the role
This boutique Portland firm is seeking a Litigation Associate eager to learn about construction and property litigation. You’ll have the opportunity to take on construction defect and property damage cases with direct mentorship from the firm’s managing partner.
Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting discovery requests and responses
- Liaising with witnesses and experts
- Collaborating on case strategy
- Prepping for trials
- Attending depositions, hearings, and court appearances
Requirements
- 0-5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in construction or real estate
- Oregon State Bar membership
- Washington State Bar membership is a plus
- JD degree
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, problem-solving, and client service skills
- Strong collaboration and negotiation capabilities
