Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and student supervision.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as directed.
• Help prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Monitor and report student progress and behavior.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe, orderly environment.
• Perform clerical duties such as record-keeping, grading, and attendance tracking.
• Support students with special needs under the direction of the teacher or special education staff.
• Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
