About the role

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) for their Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Sinking Spring. This position offers a dynamic, customer-focused retail role with full-time state employment benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the FW&GS management team to maintain a friendly, team-oriented environment.
  • Provide friendly service, assist customers in finding products, and handle loading purchases.
  • Record inventory counts, track product changes, and update inventory systems accurately.
  • Open and close the store, secure money and doors, and prepare the store for the next business day.
  • Operate registers, verify IDs, scan products, bag items, correct register errors, and complete deposits.
  • Lead staff in stocking shelves, building displays, rotating inventory, and using equipment safely.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff and work well with others to ensure a positive shopping environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration).
  • Six months of retail sales work experience.
  • PA residency requirement.
  • Pass a background investigation.

  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Benefits

Full-time employment with varying work hours totaling 75 hours biweekly. This is an itinerant position requiring travel as needed. Salary is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable. Further communication regarding this position will be sent via email.

Schedule
