Linux System Administrator - Service Desk
Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree. Bachelor's degree in a specialized area or equivalent relevant experience is required; plus, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current or active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required with ability to obtain a Polygraph is required at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Hands-on work with RedHat Linux, system/server builds, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Engaging with cross-domain and boundary device solutions.
- Providing top-notch customer service.
- Managing enterprise-level solutions and re-imaging workstations, servers, and peripherals.
- Expertise in re-imaging both physical and virtual servers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to team projects.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong experience with Red Hat LINUX command line administration.
- Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and be willing to obtain a Polygraph within a reasonable time following program onboarding.
