About the role

A Linux System Administrator is needed to manage and maintain the company’s Linux servers and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system stability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Linux servers and applications
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures
• Perform routine backups and disaster recovery tests
• Resolve technical issues and perform system upgrades
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Linux administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Knowledge of network protocols and firewalls
• Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Prometheus
