Those without a TS/SCI Poly clearance will not be considered.** Position Overview Bespoke Technologies is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Linux System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise Linux environments and supporting storage, backup, security, and patching systems. This role requires hands-on expertise with IBM Enterprise Storage, Veritas NetBackup, and vulnerability management tools, along with a solid understanding of system hardening and package management. Key Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems in a production environmentManage and support IBM Enterprise Storage solutions, ensuring high availability and performanceConfigure, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup for enterprise backup and recovery operationsPerform system patching and package management using YUM repositoriesExecute and remediate vulnerability scans using Nessus, ensuring compliance with security standardsSupport and maintain STE/STIN processes and environments (as applicable to organizational standards)Implement and maintain system security configurations, including NSF frameworks/policiesMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, audits, and incident responseMaintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, or similar)Experience with IBM Enterprise Storage systemsStrong knowledge of Veritas NetBackup (NetBackup Administration)Experience with Nessus vulnerability scanning and remediation workflowsProficiency with YUM package management and patching strategiesFamiliarity with STE/STIN processes and NSF-related security frameworksSolid understanding of Linux security, system hardening, and compliance practicesStrong troubleshooting and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) Preferred Qualifications Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent certificationExperience in enterprise environments with high availability and disaster recovery requirementsFamiliarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or similar)Exposure to cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments Qualifications Managing/Senior Principal Consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise. Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology. Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows. Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning. Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
