Liner Technician
Main Duties & Responsibilities

- Changeover time (downtime reduction)

Key Responsibilities
- Uphold and communicate the purpose, values, and vision of TriMas Packaging
- Perform liner and tooling changeovers according to production schedule and standard operating procedures
- Ensure proper installation, alignment, and setup of liners, change parts, and associated components
- Troubleshoot setup issues and make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to setup reduction and process optimization
- Assist in training operators and team members on proper setup and changeover procedures
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements during changeovers
- Work closely with maintenance and tooling teams to address equipment issues and perform minor repairs
- Monitor changeover efficiency and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve processes
- Work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in changeovers, machine setup, or tooling
- Experience with high-speed production equipment and mechanical systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
- Forklift or hoist operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Compensation
The expected pay range for this position is $20-25/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift premium. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience and competencies.
