Linen Tech | Full-Time | 8:00AM - 4:30PM

About the role

The Linen Technician is responsible for all functions in the Linen Area, including inventory and replenishment. Duties may be assigned in either tower of the hospital or both.

Responsibilities

• Record and turn in all par-stock deliveries at the end of the shift
• Track Scrub-Ex machine par levels, restock, and empty machines as assigned
• Maintain department organization
• Answer department phone when assigned and respond promptly to requests
• Perform all other tasks necessary to achieve complete customer satisfaction
• Push and pull carts safely, stock carts, and deliver linen to all areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, speak, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to count and record linen delivered
• Physical ability to spend considerable time standing and walking each shift
